Capacity Building Training Workshops Conducted |

The Ethiopia Nile Basin Discourse Forum organized a capacity building workshop for members of the
Ethiopian civil society on “Action Research, Advocacy and Policy Influencing, Resource Management and
Mobilization, Project Cycle Management and Impact Assessment” at the CRDA from March 17-25, 2008.
About 30 participants drawn from. five Nile Basin Regional States in Ethiopia (Benishangul, Oromia,
Amhara, Gambell & Tigray) as well as Addis Ababa City Administration attended the training workshop. In a
feedback the trainees gave to the forum, they noted that the training will have immense impact in
upgrading the managerial and research skills of civil society organizations working on the issue.
The training was given by experienced and highly reputable professionals in the field.
