As part of such coordination endeavors, CCRDA organized on 10 June, 2010 an orientation session to brief members involved in anti-HIV/AIDS endeavors on the application process of the 10th round Global Fund grant scheme.

The Global Fund is a global public-private partnership dedicated to attracting and disbursing additional resources to prevent and treat HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria.

The Global Fund works in close collaboration with other bilateral and multilateral organizations to supplement existing efforts dealing with the three diseases.

As part of their round 10 application submission, eligible applicants are required to submit documentation illustrating compliance with several requirements set to win the grant.

The closing date for the 10th round of Global Fund application is Friday, 20th August 2010 – 12 noon, local time in Geneva, Switzerland, it was learnt.
